Private Pilot Licence - The first step in learning to fly
We will show you how easy it is to spread your wings. Discover freedom - discover how flying gets you were you want to be safely and quickly. If your goal is personal use of this unique form of transport whether for business or pleasure then the PPL will be all you need to meet your needs.
Course requirements are a minimum of 45 hours flying lessons including 15 solo hours. Students are provided with all the materials necessary to complete the practical and theoretical requirements.
The course can be completed in 8 to 10 weeks full-time or you may prefer to spread it over several months part-time. We can accommodate the flying schedule to meet your needs.
Great News!!! We are now a CAA accredited PPL test centre. Private Pilot Licence theory testing is now available at our flight school. There is no longer any concern of a unnecessary delays in completing the PPL.
There are no specific entrance requirements for the Private Pilot Licence but some knowledge of basic mathematics and a good command of the English language are strongly recommended.
The minimum age for acquiring a Private Pilot Licence is 17 years. You will also be required to pass a medical conducted by an approved doctor. This will be arranged for you on arrival.
