Elite S812 - State of the art FNPT II Flight Simulator
The Algoa Flight Centre are about to install a state of the art FNPT II flight simulator. The Elite S812 has been built to the rigorous standards demanded by JAR FSTD A regulations for an FNPT II training device.
The Elite S812 is unique in that it is modular and thus may be configured as either single or twin as required. This is not just a software change but the complete panel and all controls are changed accordingly
The simulator can be configured as a C172 retractable, for Single Engine training. It may be configured as well as a Baron 58 for Multi-Engine training. This allows our students to practice all the instrument approach procedures required for the Commercial Licence with instrument rating including carrying out simulated procedures in a high traffic and complex environments such as Lanseria airport in Gauteng as well as being able to simulate approaches into any other airport in South Africa.
A sophisticated visual system provides an environment in which even visual flight manuevres may be practised. In addition the flight simulator will allow the Algoa Flight Centre to offer Instrument as well as ATP revalidations and will enable pilots to meet recency requirements
